About
With a background in specialist social, emotional, and mental health support, Adele has worked across a range of settings, including pre-schools, the National Health Service and early help social care. The practice offers psychotherapy for children (5–15), young people (16–25), and their families, with sessions available face-to-face in a private clinic in Bath.
Following five years of theoretical and clinical training in Bristol and London at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, Adele has supported hundreds of clients through a wide range of challenges. These include school avoidance, anxiety disorders, anger, and depression, as well as more complex challenges such as attachment difficulties, trauma and loss.
Drawing on a strong foundation in developmental psychology, systemic family therapy, and other evidence-based approaches such as CBT and mindfulness, Adele creates a warm, supportive environment where clients are safe exploring their experiences, moving towards feeling more settled, resilient, and able to manage everyday life and relationships.

Mission
Empowering Families and Young Minds
The Dynamic Family Therapist's mission is to empower families and young minds, supporting them in overcoming challenges related to mental health and emotional well-being. I believe that everyone has the ability to change and has the right to live a fulfilling life no matter what has happened to them. Through thoughtful exploration, gentle challenge, curiosity and compassion, I aim to make sense of experiences which may have shaped lives. With a deeper understanding, effective coping mechanisms can be developed, leading to greater resilience, positive communication and behavioural and relational change. I believe in creating a non-judgemental, safe space where clients can express themselves freely and work towards a greater self-awareness, leading to better ways of relating with themselves and others.
